Old Hilltop Alpacas

Eight year old Cleopatra is our gray female.  She is smart and curious, with attractive tuxedo markings.  She has had four healthy cria.  Her most recent being Jane Eyre, born on our farm.

Truffles is in the background, a dark fawn female.  She is 12 years old and has had four healthy cria.  She has been an excellent and protective mother.  Clairice was her most recent, born on our farm.

Jefe ("Chief" or boss) is the brown male, located in the foreground.  He is our herdsire and is seven years old.  He has lustrous ,dark brown fleece and sired both female cria born on our farm. 

Bennington is our black gelding.  He has a gentle disposition and is Jefe's companion.  His fleece is thick and long and has been wonderful to use for knitting.

Clairice was born on our farm in 2008.  She has dense, beautiful dark brown fleece with a mahogany hue and good sheen.  She is timid, yet curious and has been easy to halter train.

Jane Eyre was also born in 2008.  She is strong and healthy and a big girl.  Her fleece has a long staple with good crimp.
